Self-Service Online
Welcome
This is the EEECS Self-Service online portal allowing students and staff to manage passwords, access virtual desktops, web hosting, code repositories and free software. In addition to your main QUB login (Office365, Canvas, QOL,...), you have a separate EEECS login (to access EEECS lab PCs, tools & systems available only to EEECS students).
If you are enrolled on an EEECS module and you do not know or have forgotten your EEECS login then you can use our reset password facility.

All students who are associated with any module within the School have access
to our shared student resources site. This provides links to forms, shortcuts, documents and information you may need.

Reset Password
If you do not know or have forgotten your EEECS password you can reset it here using your QUB Student Number and your QUB Email account for verification
QUB Windows Virtual Desktops
In addition to EEECS vLabs, cloud-hosted Windows Virtual Desktops are also centrally available for off-campus access. These have around 130 Applications available.

Change Password
Know your current EEECS password and would like to change it? You will be asked to login to authenticate immediately before being taken to the change password form:
iDrive Web Access
To access your I Drive files normally only accessible on-campus log in to iDrive Web Access using your EEECS username and password. (Service not currently available)
Microsoft Azure Dev Tools
Microsoft Software (excluding MS Office) is available for students and staff to download and use. Click on the Further Information button to find out how to access all the software available.
VMWare Student Software
Online Horizon vLabs are available here or free VMWare Software, such as VMware Fusion to run Windows on a Mac, is available to download for your computer from our VMWare Request for EEECS students/staff.
Engineering Software
Information on student versions of engineering software available free or at greatly reduced cost. Student versions usually come with restrictions e.g. use for academic and non-commercial projects only.

Eclipse IDE for Java Developers for Windows/Mac/Linux platforms is available here on the installer downloads page.
EEECS VMWare Horizon vLabs
Logon to a pre-configured desktop with all the lab software installed for your practicals via our VMWare Horizon system from off-campus or on.
MATLAB and Simulink
Get the latest versions of MATLAB and Simulink free. QUB MATLAB and Simulink portal with software downloads, tutorials and support for everyone at QUB.
QLAB Makerspace
QLAB is the makerspace on the 2nd floor of the Computer Science Building. Design, develop, experiment. Fabrication, robotics, 3D printing, wearables, IoT, Pi, Arduino...
Virtual Tours
