Horizon client configuration

 

1.      Download and install the Vmware Horizon client from here

 

2.      Click New Server and enter the following for the name of the Connection Server:

Horizonconnect.eeecs.qub.ac.uk

 

3.      Click Connect and a login page will open. Enter your EEECS username/password

 

4.      After logging in you should see your desktop options:

“EEECS – Win 10” – Is the EEECS standard Windows 10 desktop which contains all the software the physical labs have installed except:

Visual Studio & Android Studio & Matlab.

“Win 10 + Visual Studio + Android Studio + Matlab” – Is the same EEECS standard Windows 10 desktop + Visual Studio + Android Studio + Matlab

Choose this option if you plan to use any of the above mentioned software packages.
